Overview

Thanks to our integrated marketing, database technology and variable printing capabilities, you'll be able to communicate with customers through a variety of channels, including customized print media, e-mail and Web pages such as Personalized URLs (PURLs).  When these elements are linked together in an integrated campaign, you can maximize customer response, track results, and collect additional customer information for future communications.  Our programs can also automate order processing, fulfillment and follow-up for sales leads.

Database and Asset Management

To create the foundation of an integrated marketing campaign, clients provide Cedar Graphics with their database information and assets which may include:

  • Assets
  • Marketing Data
  • Variable Items

Cedar Graphics can then store, manage and utilize the database information and assets to produce integrated marketing communications for print, e-mail, and Web pages using our software solutions.

Customized Print Mailers

Many integrated marketing campaigns begin with a direct mail piece sent to a customer or prospect.  Using database information, a template and variable data printing, the mailer is personalized based upon the recipient's lifestyle, business and or personal interests.  The mailer can also provide a Personalized URL (PURL) which the recipient can visit online to receive a promotional offer, get more information and complete a survey.

Customized E-Mails

When used in combination with a printed piece or on its own, another powerful component of an integrated marketing campaign is a customized e-mail sent to a customer or prospect.  Based upon database information, the e-mail template is personalized for the recipient's lifestyle, business and personal interests.  It can also feature the same graphics as a printed piece and provide the recipient with a Personalized URL (PURL) which the recipient can visit online to receive a promotional offer or more information.

Personalized URLs

One exciting element of an integrated marketing campaign is a Personalized URL (PURL).  When a recipient receives their PURL and enters it into a Web browser, they are instantly taken to a personalized micro-site.  The micro site has graphics that are consitent with the campaign and messages personalized to the recipient.  Oftentimes, the PURL is used to provide a promotional offer and request additional information in the form of a survey.  Then the marketer can follow up with an e-mail or sales call.  PURLs also enable marketers to easily track response rates and customized future communications.  Please view the tutorial for more information.
